Dr. Patrice Reddick

Dr. Patrice Reddick is an accomplished author, licensed and ordained minister, educator, Behavioral Health Counselor, PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator, biblical teacher, Dean of Academics, and Registered Nurse with more than four decades of service in healthcare. Her life reflects a unique intersection of faith, ministry, education, counseling, leadership, and compassionate care, all grounded in a lifelong commitment to helping others find strength, healing, purpose, and hope.

For more than 40 years, Dr. Reddick has devoted herself to caring for people during some of life’s most vulnerable and challenging moments. Her extensive nursing experience, combined with her work in behavioral health and counseling, has given her a deep appreciation for the emotional, spiritual, and practical needs of the whole person. As a PREPARE/ENRICH Facilitator, she has also invested in strengthening relationships and helping individuals and couples build healthier foundations for their lives.

Dr. Reddick’s commitment to Christian education extends beyond the pulpit. As Dean of Academics, she provides academic leadership while helping prepare and encourage students for lives of Christian service and ministry. Her work as an educator and biblical teacher reflects her passion for developing others, promoting excellence in theological education, and equipping future leaders with a strong foundation in the Word of God.

As a licensed and ordained minister, Dr. Reddick brings that same compassion and dedication to ministry. Through preaching, teaching, counseling, Christian education, and biblical instruction, she communicates the transforming truth of God’s Word in ways that speak to the realities of everyday life. Her ministry is marked by a sincere desire to meet people where they are while encouraging them to discover who they can become through faith in God.

Her writing flows from more than academic knowledge or professional experience—it is shaped by a life that has known faith, love, service, transition, grief, perseverance, and the sustaining grace of God. Having personally walked through profound loss, Dr. Reddick writes about grief not merely as an observer, but as someone who understands what it means to trust God while learning to move forward when life has forever changed.

This devotional reflects the heart of her life’s work: caring for people, strengthening faith, encouraging healing, developing others, and pointing people toward hope.

Dr. Reddick’s prayer is that every reader will discover that grief does not have the final word. Even in life’s deepest valleys, God remains faithful, His presence remains near, healing is possible, and hope can rise again.

Her message is simple yet enduring:

Loss of any kind may change the journey, but it does not cancel God’s purpose for your life.a Paragraph Font
